Azeemeh Taqi

Founder, Certified Personal Trainer

Hi I’m Azeemeh, a personal trainer, mental health enthusiast and founder of AZ Fitness!


My journey truly began after deciding I no longer wanted to be extreme in my approach. I was tired of cutting out especially carbs and was exhausted from the endless amounts of cardio I was doing. My goal changed to becoming strong, so I embarked on a journey to learn the science behind weight training to find the safest and most sustainable way to reach my goals, not only for myself but for my clients.

I am excited to have you on this journey with me, where we keep your dream body not just for the summer, but for the long run.

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

  • JPS Science to Gym Floor Level 1 & 2

  • Certified Rehab Trainer

  • Exercise Stress Management Level 1

  • Diploma in Counselling Psychology (Ongoing)

Tara Khoo

Teammate, Certified Personal Trainer

Having faced health obstacles at a young age, I made a promise to myself: not only to prevent relapse but also to strive to be the best version of myself physically and mentally by making better choices in fitness and nutrition. I firmly believe that mindset is key. Through my own journey, I grappled with body image and self-confidence issues during my adolescent years, eventually learning the true meaning of 'look good, feel good.' I have proven to myself that feeling good comes from within, and it can be achieved through making informed choices about your health. The rest will naturally fall into place.

    Confused about your protein, carbs & fats intake? Need help with calories? Not too sure what to eat when you go out with your friends and family?

    We offer nutrition consultations, both online and in person, meal plans, and grocery lists tailored to your needs.

  • Bootcamps

    Our strength and resistance based bootcamps every Sunday emphasise on lifting with proper form and technique. Situated at the outdoor gym area of Dempsey, it’ll feel like a mini getaway.

    Corporate Bootcamps: create a unique team bonding experience with us at Core Collective (minimum 10 attendees)
